  <p>Stock ComTac and Ops-Core AMP-class land headsets almost always use a <strong>dynamic (low-Z)</strong> boom so transmit stays usable around impulse noise and high dB. Modular exceptions exist (for example some OTTO boom modules that are electret)&#x2014;the selector asks when that matters.</p>
