DISCO32 Amped PTTs require DYNAMIC microphones.

Do you have a dynamic microphone?

Most modern mil-spec headsets like OpsCore AMP, 3M Peltor COMTAC, and OTTO Noizebarrier come standard with 150ohm dynamic microphones.

How can you tell?

Some companies will label their headsets as Low (Military) Impedance or High (Civilian) Impedance; typically, if you have a low impedance microphone, it is dynamic.

If you are unsure, contact your manufacturer. If you cannot contact them because they are in China .. you more than likely have a non-dynamic microphone (they are cheaper to produce).

If everything else is working (headset speakers work, the PTT button makes the radio transmit) and the microphone is not transmitting audio, there is typically a microphone type error and you will need a non-amplified push to talk.
